"Arvd 11am. Isi Jenahak, kepala jenahak, 2 fried crabs, 1 ulam, 2 air tebu, 1 teh tarik, and 13pcs of assorted kuih. RM134. Asam Pedas is tasty. Nasi Putih is dry and hard. Crabs need more seasoning of turmeric powder,. Avoid cekodok pisang - too much flour, kuih lopes-kelapa parut need more salt, pisang goreng and air tebu is super. Toilet is wet, no tissue paper. Super hot and noisy- next to main road. Kitchen floor wet, untidy. Need organizing and more systematic arrangements. Parking can be challenging."

"This place has always been a fav spot for asam pedas lunch. They have a verity of dishes, I personally love their tempeh and asam pedas. Wanted to get the fish head asam pedas but it was all sold out and it was only 1pm! Be early if you want fish head as I think they aren’t cooking as much as before due to the drop in customers due to the pandemic. Husband loved the lemak dishes. Service was prompt and for the rice dishes, it was self service. Do be warned that seafood like prawns, sotong and crab will be pricey. Overall satisfied and a spot that locals enjoy too!"

"Highly suggest that you order for delivery via phone or app or pickup and eat at the super comfort of your own home or hotel room or homestay because this place is HOT and NOISY (being next to the main road) and you will likely not enjoy the food. Oh, you need to enjoy the food because the food is the BEST."

"We came exactly here for asam pedas experience and what a wonderful experience it was Ordered the asam pedas, isi ikan parang and isi ikan jenahak. Oh wow is the word, we love it. The asam pedas is slightly sour and slightly spicier, but in a good way The jenahak tasted ok but the parang tasted especially fresh, soft and tasty. We finished the parang first then the jenahak. Top it off with air tebu in the afternoon and all is set Isi jenahak, isi parang 2 nasi n sayur, 2 air tebu set us back at RM50, which is so worth it to us. Enjoy the food the sugarcane juice and just smile to yourself"

"Another option to eat asam pedas at melaka. Nice place to eat asam pedas. The taste just nice not to spicy. Place is quite busy during lunch time."

"Good food. Taste nice. Love the taste of 'asam pedas' very good. Need to be earlier before 2-3 pm (many good food will be sold out). A bit pricier with fish type to choose. They also serve fresh cold sugar cane juice! So refreshing in a hot sunny day!! Will be repeat and addictive!!"

"This is my usual asam pedas spot. The asam pedas has that addictive sour kick, pedas yang cukup-cukup, and a deep, aromatic taste that feels comforting every time."

"i see a lot of 1 star reviews here mostly about the exorbitant pricing. honestly i’ve eaten here many times, today we ate here again as a family of 5. 3 adults + 2 children. 5 plates of plane rice, 1 halfhead jenahak, 2 diamond cut of tenggiri, 2 fried chicken, 2 vege portion for adults, 5 ice drinks. RM104. this might not be cheap for Melaka rate, but it’s not pricey at all. yesterday i ate asam pedas at Ibu Ani near MyDin Air Keroh, with halfbody jenahak (tail portion) lots of meat, for 5 adults, RM95. so personally i think hajjah rahmah price is normal for this age and time. and the taste is as usual, exceptional, for me. you can never get this taste elsewhere. still will repeat this place again whenever i come down to melaka. 5 star from me"
